The most beautiful bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is again leading not because of hit newcomer in film industry or as model, but selected as Grand Marshal at the 28th India day Parade to celebrate India’s 61st Independence day on 17th August.
This celebration is arranged by Federation Of Indian Associations, and the Parade starts from Madison Avenue in Manhattan and end at the place where different cultural and entertainment programmes are organized. This big celebration of India Independence Day attracts almost 50,000 people.
A meeting held at the Indian consulate on Tuesday, FIA President Yash Paul Soi announced that the former president APJ Abdul Kalam has also been invited for this celebration.
Last year at the time of this celebration, Indian American astronaut Sunita Williams had been invited as the Guest of Honour and Priyanka Chopra was one who had the honour of leading the Parade.
Federation of Indian Association is a large organization of Indian American community in tri-state area of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. This Parade is organized to show Indian Americans Progress and its links with other community.
Because Deepika Padukone is going to lead the Parada, so there would be lot of gathering not just to enjoy the celebration of Independence day but to have a one look on the hot and charming Deepika Padukone at Madison Avenue
